How to fix air in line causing under registration in Neptune MACH 10 Measuring Instruments?

  To address under-registration in Neptune Measuring Instruments due to air in the line, flush the meter longer, increasing back pressure and flow rate if possible. Loosen the bleed screw (refer to Figure 5 on page 11 for location) one to two turns to release air until water flows, then fully re-tighten the screw. Improper purge of lines can also cause this issue, so ensure all air is removed from the water lines following the same procedure.

  If your Neptune Measuring Instruments meter is under-registering, ensure that your start and end reads are accurate and that the test bench is correctly set up. Retest the meter. If you're using a volumetric test tank, remember to 'wet' the tank before starting the meter test.
