System Fault Indicators
If a fault condition occurs, indicator lights on the Fire Suppression
System Control Panel will react in one of two ways.
1. Both the red “System Activated” and the green “System OK”
LEDs illuminate.
2. No lights appear on the panel.
Both events indicate that service is required and also represent
different fault conditions. Inform the control center if a fault condi-
tion occurs.
Passenger Signal System
This passenger signal system is activated by stop request cords
placed above the side windows and wheelchair station touch
tape. Activating the signal system causes the following to occur:
The Stop Request sign illuminates. The sign extinguishes
when the system is reset.
Stop Request indicator illuminates and remains illuminated
until the system is reset.
A chime sounds when the stop request cord is used. A
different tone sounds if the wheelchair touch tape is used.
The system is cancelled (reset) and the lights are extinguished by:
Opening and closing either the entrance or exit doors with the
door controller.
Positioning the Stop Request toggle switch to OFF.
The sign extinguishes when the entrance or exit doors return to
the fully closed position.
Stop Request Cord
Stop request cords are located on either side of the vehicle inte-
rior. Pulling on a cord activates the system.
