Exit Door, Emergency Release Control Valve
The door emergency exit control valve is located behind a break-
able cover on the door mechanism access panel. In an emer-
gency; break the cover, turn the valve’s red handle 90° and push
the doors open. As the door opens it activates the header lights,
stepwell lights, and curb lights and the interlocks.

The Interlock System
This system applies the brakes and disables the accelerator trea-
dle when either of the following occur:
• Opening the exit door
• Operating the Wheelchair Lift
• Exceeding the articulating joint critical angle
