Engine Access Doors
Engine access doors are located at the back, the rear curbside,
and behind the rear bench seat. The doors provide access to the
engine assembly, fan drive and power steering reservoirs, alterna-
tor, and engine rear switch panel. Quarter-turn latches hold the
access doors closed.
The engine access doors at the back and the rear curbside each
use two gas cylinders to hold them up. Closing the engine door at
the back requires unlocking the streetside gas cylinder.
Wheelchair Lift Access Door
The access door to the wheelchair lift hydraulics is located on the
curbside of the vehicle, behind the front wheel. Open the access
door to operate the wheelchair lift manually or to access its
hydraulic components. It is held open by (2) gas struts and closed
by (2) square key latches.
