A hydraulic powered steering system turns the front wheels when
moving the steering wheel left or right (the engine must be operat-
ing to power the system). The tilt/telescopic steering column offers
a range of positions for the steering wheel. A lever on the left of
the column controls both tilt and telescopic functions. Push to tele-
scope and pull to tilt.
CAUTION:
DO NOT OPERATE THE VEHICLE if any of the fol-
lowing conditions exist:
• Binding or resistance in the steering wheel operation
(with the vehicle in motion).
• Unusual noises related to steering.
• Steering wheel vibration.
• Loose steering.
• Looseness, binding or resistance in the tilt/telescopic
mechanism.
Horn
The horn button is located in the center of the steering wheel.
Press the button down to operate the horn.
Public Address System
The Public Address System (P.A.) allows the communication of
messages to the public both inside and outside the vehicle. Com-
ponents of the system include:
• A gooseneck microphone.
• Ten interior speakers located above the side windows.
• An exterior speaker located beside the entrance door.
