CAUTION:
If the Hot Transmission Warning indicator lamp
illuminates for more than 30 seconds, remove the
vehicle from traffic to a safe location, shut the
engine down, and apply the parking brake.
Engine Fault Indicator (Red)
The Engine Fault indicator illuminates if the engine protection sys-
tem detects an engine malfunction. Upon indicator illumination the
protection system programming will decide if the fault warrants
beginning an engine shut-down sequence to avoid engine dam-
age.
CAUTION:
If the Engine Fault indicator illuminates, notify the
control center.
Check Engine Indicator (Amber)
The Check Engine indicator is wired to the engine protection sys-
tem. When prompted by the Engine Diagnostics toggle switches,
the engine protection system translates engine malfunctions into
error codes flashed by this indicator.
Stop Engine Indicator (Red)
The Stop Engine indicator illuminates if the engine protection sys-
tem begins the engine shut-down sequence due to a potentially
damaging engine fault.
As an operation check, the Stop Engine indicator should remain
on momentarily when the engine is started.
