Description:
Reads the status of the measurements
and 2 alarms.

bit 0 data available
bit 1 data error
bit 2 alarm 1
bit 3 alarm 2

Notes:
An alarm is present if bit 0 is high (data is
available) and either alarm 1 or alarm 2
bits are high.
