TABLE 6 - Second level functions (8 possible parameter values)
Entry LED
Parameter
LED (level) Value Description
L5
Strength of engines
(amperometric
sensitivity)
L1 Level 1 - Minimum strength
Adjusts the strength of both engines.
The control unit has a system for measuring the current
consumed by the two motors that is used to detect the
mechanical stops and any eventual obstacles during
movement of the gate. Since the current consumed de-
pends on variable conditions (gate weight, various types
of friction, gusts of wind, variations in voltage, etc.) there
is the option to change the intervention threshold. 8 lev-
els are provided: level 1 is the most sensitive (minimum
strength), level 8 the least sensitive (maximum strength).
Increasing the value of the degree of amperometric sensi-
tivity increases the deceleration speed in the manoeuvre's
closing stage.
WARNING! The suitably adjusted "amperometric"
function (together with other essential devices) can
be useful for complying with European standards EN
12453 and EN 12445, which require the use of proce-
dures and devices to limit strengths and dangers in
the movement of automatic doors and gates.
