Symptom Corrective action
The image is out of
focus.
Set the contour emphasis properly using the application software.

Turn off the electronic zoom using the application software.

Focus the microscope or lens correctly.
Do not use the system in a vibration-prone place.
Adjust the aperture diaphragm correctly.
(The aperture diaphragm should be adjusted to approximately 70% to
80% of the numerical aperture of the objective, or 70% to 80% of the
pupil of the objective.)
• Avoid over-enlargement.
(The scaling factor should be set in a range of 500 to 1,000 times the
numerical aperture of the objective.)
The image is too dark
or too bright.
Set the correct exposure and tone using the application software.

Set the microscope illumination at an appropriate level.
The color is poor.
Set the white balance using the application software.
=> To make settings, see the instructions for the application software.
Adjust the color compensation using the application software, if it is
set too high.

Turn off hue adjustment via the application software, if applicable.

Set the correct color settings for the PC monitor.
Set the color temperature of the illumination to an appropriate level.
