If the microscope does not function property, take appropriate action as described below. If the
problem is still not resolved after referring to "Troubleshooting," please contact your nearest

Parts installed incorrectly
Install the Parts (nosepiece, condenser,
etc.) correctly.
Movable parts not switched correctly
Rotate the parts (e.g., optical path
switchover dial, nosepiece , filter cube
switchover dial) until you feel resistance.
Field diaphragm image not focused
on the specimen surface
Focus and center the condenser.
Field diaphragm stopped down too
far
Open the field diaphragm slightly wider
than the field of view.
Field of view vignetting
Uneven illumination
across the field of view
Field of view not visible
Dirt or dust on lens and container Clean. Use a clean container.
