FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Eight Customizable, Backlit Master Keys
Provide “One Touch to Music”
Each of the 8 Master Keys can be customized to
identify the specific source or music genre that
will be selected when that button is pressed. The
Master Keys turn the zone on, select a source, and
play your favorite channel or music selection
• High Resolution LCD Display with LED
Backlighting
The high-resolution LCD displays complete
metadata from IntelliControl ICS sources, zone
and system status, “Soft Key” control functions,
and system setup menus
• Metadata, Preset Favorites and Menus
Metadata, (channel frequency, favorite channel
lists, menus and guides) are displayed as provided
by IntelliControl ICS Modules. IntelliControl ICS
Modular MultiZone Receiver system settings can
be displayed for configuration of tone controls,
clocks, timers and other system functions
• Seven Backlit Hard Keys
These 7 backlit buttons provide convenient access
to frequently used system controls including: Off,
Previous/Next, Volume Up/Down and Mute. The
Niles Logo Button provides access to system settings.
• Cursor Navigation Keys
Up, Down, Left, Right and Select buttons allow
navigation and selection of options through menus,
lists and guides
• Alphanumeric keys
Provide direct access tuning, numeric selection of
track and alpha search for media
• Convenient Backlighting for All Keys
Automatically illuminate when any button is pressed
• Party Mode
Party Mode turns on all your enabled “Party
Zones,” with the push of a button, from anywhere
in your home. Press and hold a Master Key for two
seconds to turn on zones enabled for “Party Mode”
• Source/Zone ON Indicator
The Master Key for the source selected illuminates
to indicate source selected and zone on status
• Mute ON indicator
The Mute button illuminates red to indicate mute
on. Red illumination turns off when un-muted
• Zone OFF
Press the OFF key to turn off the zone you’re
controlling
• Global OFF
Press and hold the OFF button for 2 seconds to
turn off all zones from anywhere in the house
• Connects to the IntelliControl ICS Modular
MultiZone Receiver via CAT-5
The IntelliControl ICS Display Keypad connects to the
IntelliControl ICS Modular MultiZone Receiver via a
CAT-5 data cable terminated with RJ-45 connectors
• External IR Sensor Input (RJ-45)
The RJ-45 jack allows connection of an external IR
sensor to the keypad for use of an IR remote in a
zone or sub-zone
• Optional Display Color Faceplates
Faceplates are available in three designer colors:
Black, Almond and Bone
