Editing profiles
To edit a profile, select the profile from the list, and
tap Personalise. Note that not all settings can be
changed for all profiles. Define the following:
Profile name: - Rename the profile.
Ringing tone: - Tap to select a sound file to be used
as a ringing tone for voice calls. To listen to the
selected tone, tap Play tone. Similarly you can select a
sound file for different message types.
Incoming call alert: - When Ascending is selected, the
ringing volume starts from level one and increases level
by level to the set volume level.
Ringing volume: - Set the volume level by pressing
or . The same volume level is used for incoming
voice calls, messages, and alarms.
Vibrating alert: - Set the smartphone to vibrate at
incoming voice calls, messages, and alarms.
Message alerts: - Select to turn on message alerts.
Text msg. alert tone: - Tap to select the alert tone for
incoming text messages. If Message alerts: is not
selected, this option is not available.
Multimedia alert tone: - Tap to select the alert tone
for incoming multimedia messages. If Message alerts: is
not selected, this option is not available.
E-mail alert tone - Tap to select the alert tone for
incoming e-mail messages. If Message alerts:is not
selected, this option is not available.
Key tones: - Set the volume level of the key clicks.
Touch screen tones: - Set the volume level of the display
taps.
Warning tones: - The smartphone gives a notification
tone, for example, when the battery is running out of
power.
To close the dialog and discard all the changes you have
made, press .
