Press Menu, and select Settings, Phone settings and Network selection and then
select:
• Automatic. The radio automatically selects an available network from a
predefined list of networks. If connection to the currently used network is lost,
the phone automatically selects one of the available networks.
• Manual. Enters a predefined list of networks. Scroll to the desired network
with and and select it by pressing Select. If Network not allowed:
is displayed in standby mode, the radio cannot register to that network.
Display brightness
Press Menu and select Settings, Phone settings and Display brightness and you
can adjust the display and backlight brightness. Use or to adjust the
brightness when the bar is shown on the display.
Unit alert duration
Press Menu and select Settings, Phone settings and Unit alert duration and you
can set the duration of received unit alert messages to be Short, Medium, Long or
Unlimited.
Allow location info sending
With this submenu, you can set whether your radio automatically answers to
location requests from numbers authorised by your organisation by sending
information messages. The messages contain information with which the service
provider can calculate the approximate location of the radio (network service).
Press Menu and select Settings, Phone settings and Allow location info sending
and select Yes or No.
