Abbr. number if the number is an abbreviated TETRA number.
Phone if the number is a public telephone network number.
Office ext. if the number is an office extension number.

• Search the number from Contacts. Press Search, select Contacts, scroll to
the desired name, press OK and then press OK again when the phone
number is displayed. If multiple numbers have been stored for the name,
first select the desired number and then press OK to send the message.
4. To send the status message or callback request to a talk group address, press
Search and select Talk groups. Scroll to the desired group name and press
Select. See also the note on page 84.
Tip: You can set pressing the duty key to send a callback request to
the selected group’s address. See Duty key setting on page 103.
Sending a situation indicator
1. Press Menu and select Status msgs. and Send status message.
2. Select Situation.
3. Scroll to the desired situation indicator and press Send. Instead of scrolling,
you can search for a message by keying in its first letter(s).
The first five situation indicators saved in your radio’s memory are also included in
the fast menu, see Fast menu on page 44.
