1 General
The NORDAC PRO (SK 500P - SK 550P) series is based on the tried and tested NORD platform. The
frequency inverters are characterised by their compact design and optimum control characteristics,
and have uniform parametrisation.
The frequency inverters have sensorless current vector control with a wide range of settings. In
combination with suitable motor models, which always provide an optimised voltage/frequency ratio,
all three-phase asynchronous motors that are suitable for inverter operation and permanently excited
synchronous motors can be driven. For the drive unit, this means very high starting and overload
torques with constant speed.
The power range is from 0.25 kW to 5.5 kW.
This series of frequency inverters can be adapted to individual requirements by means of modular
assemblies.
This manual is based on the device software as stated in the version list (see P707). If the frequency
inverter uses a different software version, this may cause differences. If necessary, the current manual
can be downloaded from the Internet (http://www.nord.com/
).
