IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this product, safety precautions should always be observed as follows:
1. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance is not working as it
should, has been dropped or damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not
use it and send to the nearest authorized service facility for proper service or repair.
2. Make sure appliance is turned off before unplugging from wall outlet for cleaning or
removing parts.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse plug, cord, and housing in water
or any other liquid.
4. Do not let the electric cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
5. Do not let the electric cord touch hot surfaces.
6. Always use appliance in a well ventilated area.
7. DO NOT use without the inner pot in place and do not substitute with a different pot
other than the one provided specifically by Noxxa.
8. Make sure the external surface of the inner pot is dry before use.
9. Always make sure there is sufficient liquid inside the inner pot during pressure
cooking.
10. NEVER attempt to deep fry or pressure fry using the appliance. It is dangerous and
may cause a fire and serious damage.
11. Under Pressure Functions (SOUP/BROTH, MEAT/STEW, LOW PRESSURE, RICE,
MULTI GRAIN, PORRIDGE, MANUAL), DO NOT fill the pot more than ½ full with
food or 2/3 full with liquid. When cooking foods that expand during cooking, do not
fill the unit over ½ full. Over filling may result in clogging the valves and will not allow
enough room for proper building of pressure.
12. Do not pressure cook hard liquor.
13. For recipes that need thickening, do not use thickening agents before or during
pressure cooking. Thickened foods could lead to an unexpected eruption after the lid
of the pressure cooker is removed. THE THICKENING AGENT MUST BE SIMMERED-
IN ONLY AFTERWARDS.
14. This product should not be used for other than the intended use.
15. MAKE SURE the lid is closed properly before starting any function except for STIR
FRY function. When using STIR FRY function, do not place the lid on the cooker.
16. Do not touch the stainless steel part of the lid while product is in use as it will be hot.
17. DO NOT cover all the pressure valves with anything during use. This may cause over
pressurizing and may lead to serious accidents.
18. NEVER try to remove the lid while the unit is cooking under pressure.
NOTE:
When cooking most foods using pressure function, at least 1 cup (250ml) of liquid
should be added.
