PROBLEM SOLUTION
No power
• Check if the plug is loose and plug in properly.
• Check if the plug pins deformed or damaged.
The lid cannot
be opened at
the end of the
cooking cycle
• The lid can’t be opened until the floating valve drops down.
• Make sure the regulator knob is turned to “STEAM” to release all
internal pressure.
• If this occurs frequently, the gasket may need to be adjusted.
Steam is
escaping from
the lid
• Close the lid correctly ensuring the gasket is properly in its place.
• Ensure the silicone gasket is clean, free from damage or cracks and is
properly inserted.
• Check the edge of cooking pot for any deffects and replace if necessary.
Floating valve
does not rise
• Close the lid correctly ensuring the gasket is properly in its place.
• Ensure the silicone gasket is clean, free from damage or cracks and is
properly inserted.
• Ensure that the floating valve can move freely.
Pressure is not
building up
• Ensure that the pressure regulator valve is properly placed in its
housing.
• Add more liquid to the inner pot. There should be a minimum of 1 cup
of liquid in the inner pot.
Timer will not
count down
• Ensure the lid is closed properly.
• Ensure that the pressure regulator valve is properly placed in its
housing.
• Add more liquid to the inner pot. There should be a minimum of 1 cup
of liquid in the inner pot.
Cannot open or
remove cover
• Be sure all of the pressure has been released.
• If you still cannot open it, bring the contents of the cooker up to
pressure again. Release the pressure completely.
* If problem persists, send your unit to the nearest authorized service facility for examination and
repair.
