n Cleaning the Pressure Regulator Knob
Always check that the pressure regulator knob and the pressure safety valve are in good working
order before each use.
1. After the unit has cooled, remove the lid.
2. Pull out to remove. Look through the removed knob to make sure there is no particle build-
up, and put it under running water to clean.
3. Turn the lid over and place on a table top. Pull out the anti-blocking case. Using a brush,
check and remove any food or foreign particles that may be lodged in the pressure
discharging tube that is located inside the anti-blocking cover. Replace the anti-blocking case
by pressing it down back into place.
4. Replace the pressure regulator knob by lining the notches up to the inside wall of the pressure
regulator chamber in the lid and push down.
n How to care for your Non-stick Inner Pot
The Noxxa Electric Multifunction Pressure Cooker non-stick inner pot is coated with a food
grade DUPONT Teflon Platinum coating that is used internationally for all high quality non-stick
cookware. It is a high performance coating consisting of 3 layers. Due to the nature of the coating,
care must be taken in your daily use.
As with all non-stick products, metal spatulas, metal spoons and metal ladles cannot be used
in this 3-layer Teflon Platinum Coated inner pot.
Similarly during the stir frying process, meat containing bones with sharp edges may scratch
and damage the 3 layer platinum coating of your inner pot. Hence it is advisable not to stir fry
meat containing bones with sharp edges in the non-stick inner pot.
However, meat with bones may be cooked with other functions e.g. Pressure cooking
functions, Keep Warm/Reheat, Steam and Slow Cook provided no vigorous/stir fry movements are
used in the cooking process.
