Precautions for Handling and Operation

NOTICE
● Fully-charged rechargeable battery, in general, discharge gradually over time even though it is not
used� It is recommended to recharge the battery just before use�
● When the motor handpiece stops automatically by detecting a low battery voltage, turning on the
power again after a while may not detect the low voltage immediately� This is not a failure, but due
to battery characteristics� Since the voltage drop does not coincide with the remaining battery
capacity, consider it only as a yardstick�
● Try to recharge the battery only after they have been used as much as possible� If the battery is
repeatedly used for short periods and recharged, the so-called memory effect could result in a
shorter usage time than indicated� If this happens, battery performance can be recovered by fully
draining and then fully recharging the battery several times� (This product includes a refresh mode
for this purpose�)
● The used nickel metal hydride battery is recyclable� When disposing of it do not disassemble the
battery and dispose of the product according to laws and regulations� Alternatively, return it to
your dealer�
● During vibration, the motor handpiece and the motor handpiece cord may affect computer and
LAN cable� Noise could be heard during operation near a radio receiver�
● No special training is required for this device�
● When disposing of the control unit, follow the instructions of your local government for disposal,
as they contain materials which may become industrial waste�
● When discarding the contra angle head and motor handpiece, dispose of them as medical waste�
