Press the ON/OFF button (A) to start the
motor handpiece�
(A)
There are 2 operations�
Alternate operation
Press (A) for less than 1 second: Rotation
starts
Press again: Rotation stops
Intermittent operation
Press and hold (A) for 1 second or more:
Rotates while it is pressed
Release: Rotation stop
Operation during motor handpiece rotation
Adjustable: Rotation speed, torque limit value, rotation direction
Non-adjustable: Gear ratio, auto reverse mode, program number
CAUTION
● Observe the allowable rotation speed and specified torque that the file manufacturer specifies for
use�
NOTICE
● If 10 minutes pass without operation of the ON/OFF button, the power turns off automatically
(Auto power off function)� However, the power does not turn off automatically if the motor
handpiece is in motion, even if it is not used�
5 – 2 Auto reverse function
When the motor handpiece starts and its load reaches approximately half of the preset torque limit value,
the alarm sounds�
The alarm sound changes when the load approaches the torque limit value�
When a further load exceeds the torque limit value, the following 3 modes can be selected:
AUTO REVERSE
The motor handpiece rotates in reverse when the torque limit value is exceeded� When the load is
removed, the motor handpiece returns to forward rotation automatically�

If the load is kept applied, the file
will rotate in reverse.
