2.8 Electrical
The RU requires a dedicated grounded 100-240 VAC, 50/60 HZ supply, and draws 0.3
amps (scale/printer versions.) The AC line (including ground) must not be shared with
noise and surge generating equipment such as, electric motors, compressors,
thermostats, fluorescent lights, etc. A line conditioning device is recommended to
provide protection from surges and spikes. The Power supply uses an electronic
overload protection circuit designed to protect the internal electrical components.
