6.1.8 Down Line Loading Fonts
Down Line Loading Font (referred to as DLL hereafter) consists of Bitmap Font DLL and Scalable
Font DLL.
The number of fonts that can be downloaded to this device depends on the device’s RAM size while
the maximum number that can coexist is 32768, Bitmap fonts and Scalable fonts combined (in HP
Emulation).
6.1.9 Bitmap DLL Fonts
In HP emulation, compressed Bitmap data format is supported.

6.1.10 Scalable DLL Fonts
Scalable fonts can be registered in Intellifont-based HP format (called PCLeo) and Truetype-based
HP format.

6.1.11 Download Font to File System
Downloading in the file format can be made to the file system, on HDD or Flash, using the download
utility.
