Fuse Specifications
The following fuses or circuit breakers are located in the fuse block on the front passenger compartment wall adjacent to the steering column. Do not use fuses of higher ampereage rating than those specified below.
NOTE: On cars equipped with exterior lamp monitor, do not replace fuses with slow-blow type.
When installing trailer harness, do not splice rearward of the electronic control box
located
in the trunk.

Two fusible links are· incorporated into the wiring system. These wires are of such a gauge that
they will fuse (or melt) before damage occurs to an entire wiring harness in the event of an
electrical overload. One is located at the cranking motor and the other at the junction block at rear
of engine
compartment. See your Oldsmobile Dealer if fusible link replacement becomes
necessary.
