Chapter 5 Menu operations and functions
1 Make sure that the USB connection is set to “MEM/KYBD”.
For more information, see “USB settings” (page 111).
2 Connect the USB keyboard to the USB port to display the title input
window.
The keyboard in the title window turns grey.
3 Use the USB keyboard to input text.
The text you input is displayed in the selection box.
NOTE
• When the USB keyboard is attached, the dictionary function is disabled so text input to the
selection box appears as it is input.
4 Use the arrow keys to select words displayed in the first line of the
selection box and then press the [Enter] key.
The word selected in the selection box appears in the title input box.
5 Edit the work if necessary.
• To delete text, use the arrow keys to select the text to delete, and then press
the [Delete] key.
• To insert text, use the arrow keys to select where to insert the text in the title
box and then do steps 2 and 3.
• To input a space, use the arrow keys to select where to input a space, and
then press the space key.
6 Repeat steps 3 through 5 to complete inputting a title.
