File menu [File Menu]
NOTE
• The normalize effect may not be
achieved for files such as the
following.
• Files originally recorded at a high
volume level.
• Files in which sudden loud
sounds are recorded.
• Files containing a large variation
of volume levels.
• If the current folder contains
200 files, [Normalize] cannot be
performed.
• Do not remove the batteries while
normalizing. Data may be corrupted.
Displaying file or folder
information [Property]
You can display the information of a file or
folder from a menu screen.
File information

Press the + or − button to
switch the screen.
• Information is displayed for the
items [Name], [Date], [Size] and
[Bit Rate].
Folder information

Press the + or − button to
switch the screen.
• Information is displayed for the
items [Name], [File] (the number of
files) and [Folder] (the number of
folders).
• The [Folder] item is not displayed in
[Recorder] mode.
• Displayed numbers of files do
not include files in formats that
are unrecognizable to the voice
recorder.
