7 – Previous Track
Press this button during the first 4 seconds of a track to play the previous track.After Omnifi plays 4
seconds of a track, pressing this button causes Omnifi to restart playback of the current track.
While browsing through media, you can use this button to jump up through the list in 10%
increments. Example; If you have 100 files, pressing the Previous Track button will jump up the list
every 10 files until you reach the beginning of the list.
8 – Stop
Press this button to stop playback of the current track.
9 – Next Track
Press this button to play the next track.
While browsing through media, you can use this button to jump down through the list in 10%
increments. Example; If you have 100 files, pressing the Next Track button will jump down the list
every 10 files till you reach the end of the list.
10 – Presets
Setting Presets on the Omnifi Front Panel
The Omnifi includes a Preset function that allows you to set eight presets to playlists in your
Media Library.
The Presets list is located at the top level of the Omnifi interface. Press the Home button and then
the Navigate Left button to move the display to the top level.
You can set a Preset while browsing a playlist title, track title, or while a track is playing.
To program a preset for the currently playing track, press PRESET to enter Preset mode.The display
will show the list of presets. Press the button you want to program (1 to 8) for two seconds.
To program a preset for an item while browsing, press PRESET.The display will show the list of
presets. Press the button you want to program (1 to 8) for two seconds.
NOTE: Setting the preset for a track causes the entire playlist to be stored in the preset.
When the preset is programmed, the Omnifi display will revert back to your position before you
pressed the Preset button.
If a preset was previously programmed, it will be overwritten by the new preset.
Playing Presets
To play a preset, press PRESET, then momentarily press the preset button (1 to 8) you want to listen
to.
If you change your mind after pressing the PRESET button and don’t select a preset to play, press
PRESET again to exit preset mode and return to the current Omnifi display.
If you do not select a preset (1 to 8) within 6 seconds after pressing PRESET, Omnifi automatically
reverts to the current display.
You can also access your Presets list by pressing the PRESETS button and using the Scroll Knob to
scroll among the preset list. Use the Select button to play a preset.
11 – Home
Pressing the HOME button causes the display to jump to the top level of the Media Library,
starting with All Media. Omnifi displays a list of all of your media categories and playlist groups,
matching the order they are listed in the left pane of your SimpleCenter Media Library.
If the HOME button is pressed while a track is playing, the display will jump to the top level of the
Media Library, starting with All Media, and wait for 10 seconds for other button to be pressed
before returning the display to the currently playing track.
12 – Artist
Pressing the ARTIST button causes the display to jump to the top of the ARTISTS category in the
Media Library.
