2. The count values and set values can be set in BCD or hexadecimal.
Setting and Reading the
Count Value and Set
Values
Count value setting refers to the procedure required to change the present
value of the count as required, whereas count value reset refers to the pro-
cess required to reset the present count value to 0.
Count Value Reset
The count value can be reset using combinations of the following 3 inputs.

The internal Reset Bit (bit 07 in word n+2 of the output area)

Counting stopped
due to overflow
