3-4 Displaying I/O Comments
3-4-2 Switching the I/O Comment Display

2. Select I/O Comment File Setting from the Various Settings Dialog Box.
3. Select the host where the I/O comment file is set.
4. Select from the list of I/O comment files the one that is to be displayed.
For each currently registered host in the Host area, the name of the I/O comment file
that is set will be displayed.
There are two types of I/O comment files: global (G-filename.IOC) and local
(L-filename.IOC). The file names are displayed in the I/O Comment File Setting Dialog
Box. Selecting a file name selects both the global and local I/O comment files.
I/O comment files read from the PLC are displayed as hostname.IOC. In addition, an
asterisk is displayed after the name in the Host area in the dialog box.
The names of I/O comment files saved on a Memory Card or in the PT are displayed in
the list appearing in the I/O Comment File area.
If I/O comment files are saved under the same name both on the Memory Card and in
the PT, the file in the PT will be read.
To delete an I/O comment file set for a host, select the file name in the Host area and
press the Cancel Button.
To delete an I/O comment file, select from the I/O Comment File list the file that is to be
deleted and then press the Delete Button.
5. Press the Set Button.
6. Press the Close Button.

Note
Up to 100 I/O comment files can be displayed in the I/O Comment File list in the I/O
Comment File Setting Dialog Box.

Press the I/O Cmt Button to switch the I/O comments display to three lines, one line, or
not at all.
