3-7 Changing Address Status/Contents
3-7-3 Changing Present Values of Specified Words

4. Input the desired value in the Value Field. The format of the input number will be
changed as shown below, according to the display format of the ladder monitor.

When a 2-word or 4-word operand is selected for a special instruction, the input will
be for two or four words. When floating-point decimal is selected, the value will not
be changed.
When the operating mode is in BCD, input present values of timers and counters in
BCD regardless of the present value display format. When the operating mode is in
binary, the input format depends on the I/O status monitor display format as shown
in the following table.

5. Press the Update Button.
Note
With a CJ2 CPU Unit, both BCD and binary mode timers and counters can be used
in the same program. Determining the BCD/binary mode of instructions that use
time/counter addresses selected for I/O monitoring would require time. Present
value thus cannot be changed on the I/O Monitor. To change the present value,
display and select the timer or counter instruction.
