Reference - If a communication error occurs when “OFF” is set for “Comm. Auto-return”, the
NT31/NT31C makes the number of attempts at communication with the host
specified by the setting for the “Retry Counts” touch switch (page 207). If com-
munication cannot be re-established in any of these attempts, an error screen is
displayed.

Set the automatic reset function by following the menu operation from the System
Menu shown below.
Select “Maintenance Mode”.
Select “Memory Switch”.
Press [ ] (next screen) or [ ] (previous
screen) to display the third memory switch
setting screen.
Press “Comm. Auto-return” to display the re-
quired setting.
The setting option changes each time the
touch switch is pressed.
