Source/listening mode indicators (39)
These indicators show the currently selected lis-
tening mode and digital audio format.

FM STEREO indicator (34)
This indicator lights up when the radio is tuned to a
stereo FM station.

AUTO indicator (34)
This indicator lights up when the Auto Tuning mode
is selected. Stereo FM stations can be enjoyed in
this mode.

Tuned indicator (34)
This indicates the radio reception status.
5 A & B speaker indicators (31)
Indicator A lights up when speaker set A is on. Indi-
cator B lights up when speaker set B is on.

MEMORY indicator (35)
This indicator flashes when presetting radio sta-
tions.

Message area
This area of the display shows various information
about the currently selected source.

MUTING indicator (32)
This indicator flashes when the TX-LR552 is
muted.

SLEEP indicator (33)
This indicator lights up when the Sleep function has
been set.
