A SEND/LEARN selector switch
(SEND/LEARN) [21, 22]
SEND — Set the switch to this position when you are using the
remote controller. All buttons on the remote controller can be
used. (The PROGRAMMABLE AREA TV/VIDEO buttons are
used to store remote controller functions for TV and Video
equipment.)
LEARN — Set the switch to this position when you are regis-
tering functions of another remote controller.
B Sending/learned indicator [21, 22]
C Power button (POWER) [9, 22]
D Sleep button (SLEEP) [13]
E Input selector buttons [12, 19, 20]
(TV/AUX,VIDEO-1, 2, TAPE, TUNER, PHONO, CD)
F PROGRAMMABLE AREA TV/VIDEO buttons [21, 22]
Use these buttons to store remote controller functions of TV and
video equipment. For details, please refer to “Programming
remote controller codes” in this Instruction Manual.
G Tape operation buttons (DECK-A, DECK-B) [6]
These buttons control ONKYO double cassette tape decks that
can be remotely controlled. Use the DECK-B buttons to control
single cassette tape decks that bear the terminal.
H CD operation buttons [6]
These buttons are used to operate an ONKYO CD player that
bears the terminal.
I Test tone button (TEST TONE) [16, 17]
J Channel selector button (CH SEL) [16]
K Level π/† buttons (LEVEL π/†)[16]
L Multi channel input button
This button is not used for the TX-SV353.
M Tuner operation buttons (TUNER) [15]
GROUP: — Group selector button
PRESET π/†: — Preset memory up/down buttons
N Audio muting button (MUTING) [13]
O Surround mode button (SUR MODE) [16, 17, 18]
P Volume buttons (VOLUME π/†) [12, 18, 22]
To adjust the volume of the Front Main, Center, or Rear (Sur-
round) speaker.
