50 Making calls
Parking a call
You can park up to ten internal and/or external calls. Parked calls can
be displayed and picked up on another telephone. This feature is use-
ful if you want to continue a call at another phone for example.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call.
Open the menu page 18.
Select and confirm the option shown.
0 ... 9 Enter the number of the park position (0 – 9) and make a note of it.
If the park position number you entered is not displayed, it is already
in use; enter another one.
Retrieving a parked call
Prerequisite: One or more calls have been parked. The phone is idle.
Open the menu page 18.
Select and confirm the option shown.
0 ... 9 Enter the park position number you noted earlier.
If the park slot number you enter is not in use, you cannot retrieve
the call.
Holding a call
You can place a call partner on hold. The call partner hears music on
hold.
Press the key with option shown, if configured.
*56=Park a call?
#56=Retrieve call?
If a parked call is not picked up, the call is returned to the tele-
phone from where it was parked (recall) after a specific period of
time.
Hold
The hold key has to be configured as one of the FPKs.
