8. TROUBLESHOOTING
8.1. EARTH FAULT
The earth voltage can be measured in two ways; either between earth and the rectier or between earth and the batteries. If mains
is connected the measurement should be done against the rectier otherwise it should be done against the batteries.
The following tables show the nominal earth voltage:
Nominal earth voltage
0V-to-Earth +12.9V DC (Control unit powered by mains)
B- -to-Earth +14.2V DC (Control unit powered by batteries)
The AC voltage is dependent on the rectier. Best way is to turn off mains and let the control unit run on batteries. Then the AC
voltage should be less than 0.5V.
