Chapter 6 Menu Operations — Menu list
[IN/OUT SEL]
Congure the settings regarding output from <SDI OUT/IN (OP)>, <HDMI>, <MON OUT>, and <TC IN/OUT> terminals.
Item Description of settings
[SDI OUT] Sets video output from the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)> terminal.
[ON]: Outputs video.
[OFF]: Does not output video.
f Factory setting: [ON]
[SDI OUT CHAR] Selects whether to superimpose characters on images output from the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)> terminal.
[ON]: Superimposes.
[OFF]: Does not superimpose.
f Factory setting: [OFF]
When main menu → [SYSTEM MODE] → [LINE&FREQ] is set to [1080-23.98PsF], characters are not
superimposed on the output images from the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)> terminal, and this menu item is not
displayed.
[SDI EDH] Selects whether to superimpose EDH when output from the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)> terminal is SD signal
(480i and 576i).
[ON]: Superimposes.
[OFF]: Does not superimpose.
f Factory setting: [ON]
[HD SDI REMOTE] Sets whether to use the control function of recording operation for an external device (such as a recorder)
connected to the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)> terminal at HD SDI output.
[ON]: Controls the recording operation of the external device.
[OFF]: Does not control the recording operation of the external device.
f Factory setting: [OFF]
[DOWNCON SETTING] [DETAIL] Turns detail function for the down converter output signal [ON]/[OFF].
[ON], [OFF]
The down converter output signal contains detail components set during HD signal processing.
This setting superimposes the detail components exclusive to down converter output to that signal.
f Factory setting: [ON]
[H.DTL LEVEL] Sets horizontal detail correction level for the down converter output signal.
[0]…[31]
f Factory setting: [8]
[V.DTL LEVEL] Sets vertical detail correction level for the down converter output signal.
[0]…[31]
f Factory setting: [4]
[DTL CORING] Sets the detail noise removal level.
[0]…[15]
f Factory setting: [1]
[H.DTL FREQ] Selects the horizontal detail frequency.
[2.5MHz], [3MHz], [3.5MHz], [4MHz], [4.5MHz]
f Factory setting: [3.5MHz]
[MON/HDMI ZEBRA] Selects whether to superimpose the zebra pattern over the video signals output from the monitor output
terminals (<HDMI>, <MON OUT>).
[ON]: Superimposes.
[OFF]: Does not superimpose.
f Factory setting: [OFF]
[TC IN/OUT SEL] Selects whether to use the <TC IN/OUT> terminal for input or for output.
[TC OUT]: Uses as output.
[TC IN]: Uses as input.
f Factory setting: [TC OUT]
[TC OUT] Sets the type of time code output from the <TC IN/OUT> terminal.
[TCG]: Outputs the time code generator value of the camera at all times.
[TCG/TCR]: Outputs the time code generator value for camera image output, and the time code value of
the video being played back for video playback output.
f Factory setting: [TCG]
[TC OUTPUT REF] Sets the output delay of time code output from the <TC IN/OUT> terminal.
[RECORDING]: Outputs the recorded time code with no delay. This is used when performing simultaneous
recording on two cameras with the time code of this camera as the master.
[MON OUT]: Matches to output images.
f Factory setting: [MON OUT]
[NETWORK SETUP]
Congure the settings regarding the network.
Item Description of settings
[USB MODE SELECT] Sets the camera operation mode when an external device is connected to the USB.
[STORAGE]: Sets the mode to be used with connected devices such as an external hard disk drive.
[DEVICE]: Selects the USB device mode for using P2 cards as mass storage, using computers or other
devices connected via USB 2.0.
f Factory setting: [STORAGE]
[USB MODE] Enables/disables the mode selected in [USB MODE SELECT].
[ON], [OFF]
f Factory setting: [OFF]
