Measure and adjust the pH level of water
When is adjustment necessary?
When the measurement results are beyond the range of “pH level standardˮ, perform adjustment.
After the completion of adjustment, measure the pH level again.
The pH level is relatively high.
Drinking Water (Alkaline) 3
(pH level is 10 or above.)
Use water of Drinking Water (Alkaline) 2
or Drinking Water (Alkaline) 1.
Mix with puried water to make the
pH level smaller than 10 before use.
Decrease the amount of
water ow.
Acidic water
(pH level is more than 6.5.)
Decrease the amount of
water ow.
The pH level is relatively low.
Acidic water
(pH level is less than 5.)
Mix with puried water to make the
pH level 5 or more before use.
Drinking Water (Alkaline) 3
(pH level is less than 9.)
No adjustment
required.
When the pH level of the Drinking Water
(Alkaline) 3 or acidic water is within the range
z When the cartridge is relatively new (in about 1 week), the pH level may be slightly high.
Please measure the pH level again after about 1 week.
