The power turned o
suddenly. Nothing is
displayed
z To save energy, the display automatically turns o when the
product is not used.
z Is the power plug disconnected?
The water quality signal
does not light up
( The signal does not change
from blinking to lighting.)
z
The water quality signal blinks approx. 20 seconds. (P. EN30)
→ Run water for approx. 3 to 4 minutes, and conrm the water quality
signal is lit. Then use water.
(To remove the air inside the cartridge.)
When water is owed,
a buzzer beeps, and
lights up
z The electrodes are being automatically cleaned. (P. EN31)
→ Use the product after waiting for the display to disappear
(approx. 10 seconds).
The display changes
to Alkaline 1 to 3
after acidic water was used
z In the case of acidic water, when water ow is stopped, the type of
water used previously (Alkaline 1 to 3) is restored. (P. EN27)
After using puried water,
the display changes
to Alkaline
z Is the “Alkaline priority” mode selected? (P. EN32)
Although water ow is
not stopped,
the cartridge replacement

Is the amount of water ow too small? (less than approx. 1.0 liter/min)

pH measurement
The alkaline ion
water does not
become alkaline
z Did you select alkaline ion water? (P. EN26)
z
Some type of tap water may not become alkaline. (due to eect of carbonic acid within water)
→ Make adjustment according to the table on P. EN23.
z
Is the drain hose bent or attened? (Electrolysis will not be performed properly)
The pH level of acidic
water is neutral
z
If the pH level of acidic water is 6.5 or so, it may not be possible to
distinguish it from the pH 7.0 level (neutral) in the pH Chart.
→ Measure the pH level of water coming out from the drain hose while using acidic water, and conrm
the level is pH 10 to 11. (If this is the case, the level of acidic water is approx. pH 6.5.)
First, check P. EN39 to P. EN41.
If the problem is not solved after the following contents are checked
Disconnect the power plug, and contact the dealer where you purchased the product.
z Disconnecting the power plug once and inserting it again after approx. 5 seconds may restore the product to
the normal state.
