Replacing method
z Do not tip over the main unit, or face up the main spout.
(Water may enter the inside of the main unit, resulting in a malfunction.)
z Since the cartridge usage amount needs to be reset, do not remove the power
plug when replacing the cartridge.
z Before replacing the cartridge, turn o the faucet. Do not run water through the
Alkaline Ionizer with the cartridge removed.
(Doing so may cause the water to overow.)
z Dispose of the used cartridge in accordance with the applicable ordinances in the area concerned.
(The material of the cartridge cover is ABS. For the type of the lter materials, refer to P. EN43.)
Preparation: Please turn o the faucet.

Remove the
cover.

Remove the old
cartridge.
Push down the top
Pull toward you
Pull up and out
z
Point the main spout toward
the inside the sink. (Water ows.)

z
Take care since water will drip from the cartridge.
( Water may also drip from the bottom of the unit,
but this is not a water leak.)

Install the new
cartridge.
Align the cartridge
with the center of the
bottom surface, and
push it in.
Insert the cartridge
rmly.
Push up the cartridge
until it clicks.

Press approx. 3 seconds.
Unlit
z
Cartridge replacement guideline is
reset.
z
Be sure to press even when it is replaced
earlier than the replacement timing.
(To display the next replacement timing correctly)

Open the faucet, and
run alkaline ion water
through the main
unit.
( for about 3
or 4 minutes)
While water is
running through
the main unit, check that water is not leaking from
the area where the cartridge was installed.
z
When water is run immediately after cartridge
replacement, the water quality signal blinks approx.
20 seconds.

Turn o the faucet,
and attach the cover to nish
the cartridge replacement.
Place the cover along the rear of the main unit,
and slide it.
Set the protrusions of
the cover into
the grooves
of the
main unit.
Set the 4
protrusions into
the grooves of
the main unit.
