Check the display
Each time water is stopped, the replacement guideline is displayed for 30 seconds.
e.g. Remaining approx. 997 L
When the cartridge replacement indicator blinks
Blinking
(only while
water is owing)
The replacement timing is
approaching.
Prepare a new cartridge.
z The indicator blinks when the amount of water
ow is decreased due to clogging, etc. or when
the remaining amount until replacement is approx.
150 L or less.
When the cartridge replacement indicator is lit
lighting
Replace the cartridge.
z The cartridge replacement indicator lights up,
and at the same time either
or is
displayed.
: The cartridge is clogged.
(Check P. EN35, and replace the
cartridge.)

Total ow amount has exceeded 12 000 L.
The following shows the 3 replacement guidelines. If 1 of the following conditions is met, please
replace the cartridge.
The total water ow volume
reaches 12 000 L*.
The ow of puried water or
alkaline ion water is extremely low.
(The cartridge is blocked.)
The water smells or
tastes bad.
* Purication capacity (P. EN43)

Inside the cartridge is a hollow ber membrane lter for
removing microscopic dirt. The cartridge’s life will be shortened
when the Alkaline Ionizer is used with a quality of water
containing many clogging substances.
