When the water quality signal lights up,
use water.

z
At the beginning of daily use, run water
approx. 0.6 liters (approx. 18 seconds)
before using. (P. EN7)
z Preparation time may become longer
such as when water quality is switched
during water ow, after acidic water
is used, and when puried water
or alkaline ion water is used after
automatic electrode cleaning.
z The color of water quality signal
changes according to the type of
selected water.
y Alkaline 1–3 : Blue
y Puried water : Green
y Acidic water : Pink
5
After use,
close the faucet.
z When using the product continuously
For 10 minutes after Alkaline 1 to 3 or puried
water is used, the same type of water can be used
with short preparation time. (Water comes out
from the drain hose after 10 minutes.)
z
After Alkaline 1 to 3 or puried water is used,
the selected water type is stored until next use.
(To change the setting → P. EN32)
If water types other than those are used,
the product is restored to the state where
Alkaline 1 to 3 is selected previously.
z
Water may come out slightly from the main
spout even after the water ow is stopped. It
is not a malfunction. (This is water remaining
in the outlet pipe.)
When the water quality signal turns
o while water is owing
When the faucet is not suciently opened or
the amount of water ow is decreased due to
change in water pressure, the water quality
signal turns o. (For alkaline water and acidic
water, electrolysis is stopped.)
When the water quality signal is turned o,
open the faucet again, and adjust the amount
of water ow.
z Do not drink water while the water quality
signal is blinking.
When a buzzer beeps for approx. 3
seconds, and
lights up
(P. EN31)
When a buzzer beeps continuously
While acidic water is used, a warning buzzer
beeps continuously. (To prevent accidental
swallowing)
z
To pause the buzzer sound: press
z
To make the setting with no buzzer (P. EN32)
When blinks
(Only when alkaline ion water or
acidic water is in use)
This is displayed when a large amount of water is owing.
( In this case, it may not be possible to achieve a sucient
pH level.)
z Gradually reduce the ow from the faucet until
the indicator turns o*.
* Alkaline 1–3 : Flow of about 4.5 L/minute
Acidic water : Flow of about 2.3 L/minute
