Alkaline ion water
How long do the
alkaline ion water
and puried water
last?
Use it within 1 day at room temperature.
When alkaline ion water is produced, chlorine (sterilizer) in tap water is
removed, making it easier for bacteria to proliferate.
• When storing alkaline ion water in the refrigerator, keep it in a clean sealed
container, and use it within 2 days.
• Also use acidic water within 2 days.
Can I use alkaline ion
water to make ice?
You can use the ice made from alkaline ion water in the same
way as the ice made from tap water.
• If you store alkaline ion water in the tank of a refrigerator equipped with an
automatic ice-making function, change the water within 2 days.

These are minerals contained in the water.
When water is frozen, the minerals solidify on the surfaces of the ice. There is
no problem if you swallow the white bits.
Can I use alkaline ion

other than drinking?

Either reduce the pH level of the alkaline ion water or use puried water.
• The rice may be sticky or yellowish depending on the amount of water and

Due to electrolysis, alkaline ion water contains 20 % to 30 %
more of calcium ions than tap water.
What kind of water

toddlers drink?
We recommend that they start drinking from puried water.
According to the type of baby food, start using alkaline ion water gradually with the “Alkaline
1” setting. (Because infants have less developed stomachs and intestines than adults.)

• It is acidic water if alkaline ion water is coming out from the main spout.
• It is alkaline water if acidic water is coming out from the main spout.
(When purified water is coming out from the main spout, no water comes out from the drain hose.)
( The characteristic of water coming out from the drain hose while the water quality signal is blinking
changes depending on the quality of water used last.)
Water coming out from the drain hose cannot be drunk.
