Manual programming

Press PROG/CHECK. The TIMER RECORDING screen appears.

Confirm the highlighted line with ENTER.

Use to select the name of the TV station.
If [ ] is displayed under Name, use to select the desired programme position.

Use to switch to the next field and change entry using .
Name, Date, Start and Stop can also be entered using the number buttons.
Name: Programme position/name of the TV station
Date: You can also programme titles to be recorded on a daily or weekly basis.
Start: Start time / Stop: Stop time
If you press and hold the buttons, the time increases/decreases in 30-minute
increments.
Mode: Recording mode (XP, SP, LP, EP, FR)
If you selected VPS/PDC [ON], recording mode FR is not possible.
VPS/PDC: [On] or [OFF]
If the television station sends VPS/PDC signals, the beginning and end of a recording are
synchronised with the current air time. The programme start time must be set correctly to
the start time given in the magazine.
Programme Name: You can enter the title of the programme.
If you record several programmes in a row, the first few seconds of the second
programme are not recorded on the disc,
approx. 30 seconds.
TIMER-controlled recordings

If you want to enter the programme name, use to select [Programme Name]
and confirm with ENTER.

Once you have made all changes, save the programme with ENTER.

To continue programming, select [New Timer Programme].

Press TIMER to switch the unit to timer standby mode.
The symbol lights up in the unit display.

To cancel or pause the recording, press TIMER again.
