Play menu

A-B repeat [HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R] [DVD-V] (page 56)
You can repeat a section between points A and B within a
programme, title, or track.
Repeat play [HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R] [DVD-V] [CD] [VCD] (page 56)
You can play a programme, play list, chapter, title, or track
repeatedly.
Marker [HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R] [DVD-V] [CD] [VCD] (page 24)
You can mark points on a disc to return to later.

A-B repeat play
[HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R] [DVD-V]
You can repeat a section between points A and B within a
programme, title, or chapter.
During play
Press [ENTER] (10).
(1) Press [ENTER] (10) to specify the start point.
(2) Press [ENTER] (10) to specify the finish point.
A-B repeat starts when you specify point B.
By pressing [ENTER] (10), the display changes as:
a) Specifying the A point
b) Specifying the B point (A-B repeat starts.)
c) normal play
Note
A-B repeat does not work if the DVD’s elapsed play time is not
shown on the unit’s display.
The unit automatically determines the end of a programme/title
as point B when the end of the programme/title is reached.
Some subtitles recorded around point A or B may fail to appear.
This does not work while playing a play list.
While playing back, you can set the A-B repeat play. When
stopped, the A-B repeat positions are cleared.
[DUBBING] (27) or [ERASE] (30) does not work while in repeat
play mode.

If the Video CD has playback control
1) While stopped (the screen saver is on the
television), press the numeric buttons (4)
to select a track.
2) Do the above operation.
ªTo repeat only your favorite tracks
[CD] [VCD]
(1) Programme the tracks you want (page 23).
(2) Do the above operation.
Note
Repeat play may not work as desired with some discs.
Repeat play does not work if the disc’s elapsed play time is not
shown on the unit’s display.
You cannot use repeat play to repeat an entire DVD-Video.
While playing back, you can set the repeat play. When stopped,
the repeat play operation is canceled.
[DUBBING] (27) or [ERASE] (30) does not work while in repeat
play mode.
