timer recording
*SHOWVIEW : for Continental Europe.

system.

programmes one month in advance. Programmes for everyday or
every week are counted as one programme.

can be used for playback* and JPEG operations, but it is not
possible to use the tuner on the unit to view television
broadcasts.
* The unit can only play the currently set TV system if the unit is
in timer recording standby mode.
ªIf “– –” appears under “Name” after entering a
S
HOWVIEW (G-CODE) number
Name stands for Programme Position/TV Station Name.
Normally, the name of the TV station or the number of the
programme position is displayed under “Name”.
However, if the TV station information was not automatically set
during Preset Downroad or Auto Setup due to adverse reception
conditions, the “– –” indication appears instead.
In such a case, follow the operation steps below to correct it.
Use [3, 4] (10) repeatedly to select the programme
position on which the TV programme to be recorded
will be broadcast.
After you have entered the information of a TV station, it remains
stored in the unit’s memory, and you do not need to enter it again
in the future.
