JPEG-Editing JPEG pictures (continued)
Copy All of PC Card
[CARD]
You can copy the all contents of the PC card to HDD or DVD-RAM.
(maximum of 300 folders, 3000 files)
1 While stopped
Press [FUNCTIONS] (11).
2 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “JPEG” and press
[ENTER] (10).
3 Select the copy source folder. (page 60)
4 Use [3, 4] (10) to select “COPY ALL OF PC CARD”
and press [ENTER] (10).
5 Confirm that “Copy to” is selected and use [2, 1]
(10) to select “HDD” or “DVD”.
6 Use [4, 2, 1] (10) to select “COPY ALL” and
press [ENTER] (10).
≥All JPEG pictures are copied, and the screen shown in step 4
reappears.
ªTo stop partway through
Select “CANCEL” in step 5 and press [ENTER] (10).
Or
Press [RETURN] (23).
For your reference
≥A new folder will be created in the copying drive.
≥Any files in the folder besides the JPEG pictures are also copied.
≥Folders lower than the folder to be copied will not be copied.
≥If the space on the copying drive runs out or the number of files/
folders to be copied exceeds the maximum, copying will stop
partway through.
≥After copying, it may take some time to download the copying
source information.
≥Print (DPOF) number setting (page 65) is not transferred.

≥JPEG pictures are copied but non-valid files and folders will not
copied. (page 13)
Erase
[CARD] [HDD] [RAM]
You can erase the whole folders or selected JPEG pictures.
Once activated, material cannot be returned to its original
form, including protected JPEG pictures. Check it carefully
before proceeding.
1 While stopped
Press [FUNCTIONS] (11).
2 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “JPEG” and press
[ENTER] (10).
3 Select the folder for displaying to erase. (page 60)
4 Use [3, 4] (10) to select “ERASE” and press
[ENTER] (10).
5 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select a folder or JPEG
picture you wish to erase and press [ENTER] (10).
≥Repeat this if you erase more than one still picture.
ª To select all the JPEG pictures in the folder
Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Folder” and press [ENTER]
(10).
(A check mark appears on the folder’s name; check marks
inputted separately will be erased.)
≥This also erases the folder.
To cancel check marks:
Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select the folder or JPEG picture
with the check mark and press [ENTER] (10).
6 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Erase” and press
[ENTER] (10).
≥The confirmation screen appears.
7 Use [2, 1] (10) to select “ERASE” and press
[ENTER] (10).
≥Selected JPEG pictures are erased, and the JPEG picture
select screen reappears.
ªTo stop partway through
Select “CANCEL” in step 7 and press [ENTER] (10).

Press [RETURN] (23).
For your reference
≥When you erase folders, files other than JPEG pictures in the
folder are also erased.
≥Folders lower than the folder to be erased will not be erased.
≥To erase files other than JPEG pictures, select the folder
containing the file and erase.
