Select “Invalid” or “Valid” for
“APOP Authentication”, and then
select “OK”.
● APOP is the authentication method which
encrypts the password used for the reception
of an Email. POP is usually used for the
reception of Email, and there is a possibility
that a password may be intercepted. In
APOP, since an encrypted password is
transmitted, the safety is high.
● Select either setting to return to step 6.
