Reduces the image shaking (jitter) due to hand movement when recording.
• VDR-D300
_ Rotate the mode dial to select _ or O.
Press the MENU button, then select [ _ ADVANCED]
--_ [[_O.I.S.]--_ [ON] and press the joystick.
• VDR-D250
• The image stabilizer function does not work ill card recording mode.

Press the MENU button, then select [ _ ADVANCED] --_ [[_ EIS] --_ [ON]
and press the joystick.
To cancel the image stabilizer function
Press the MENU button, then select [ _ ADVANCED]_ [_ O.l.S.]/[[_ EIS] _ [OFF] and
press thejoystick.
• This function's default setting is [ON].
• (VDR-D300 only) In the card recording mode,
pressing the PHOTO SHOT button halfway
increases the effect of the image stabilizer function
(MEGA optical image stabilizer)
• When a tripod is used, we recommend that you turn
the image stabilizer off
• In the following cases, the image stabilizer function
may not work effectiveIy.
- When the digitai zoom is used
- When the unit is shaken greatly
- When you record a moving subject while tracking
it
- When recording in extremely dark places
(VDR-D250 onIy)
• The image stabifizer function does not work when
the MagicPix function is being used. (VDR-D250
only)
