1) Conduct the procedure 1 and 2 and take
the drum unit out.
2) Remove the drum cleaning blade tension
spring (refer to P.4-13 step 4).

Remove the front side screw on the drum shaft.
4) Remove the drum shaft.
5) Remove the drum.
Note: Handle the case not the drum.

1) Remove the side seal (Front and Rear).
2) Clean the surface of drum unit frame then
reinstall the side seal (Front and rear).
3) Replace the drum.
Adjustment after replacing new drum
a. Set F mode.
b. Clean the copy density sensor.
c. Adjust F8-14.
d. Adjust copy quality.
e. Go back to normal mode.

1) Conduct the same procedure 1 and 2 and
take the drum unit out.
2) Remove the corona fixing screw and
remove the charge corona assembly.
3) Remove the grid(3a), mylar(3b) and
corona wire(3c).
