5) Replacement of the spacer ring
1) Conduct the procedure 1 and 2 then
remove the developer unit.
2) Remove the bias terminal (2 screws).
3) Remove the C ring and gears on
mag-roller.
4) Remove the spacer ring (Rear).
5) Remove the bushing support plate (1
screw).
Note: Take note of the position of the
bushing support plate and reinstall it in the
same position after replacing the spacer ring.
6) Remove the spacer ring (Front).
7) Replace the spacer ring (Front and rear).

1) Conduct the procedure 1 and 2
2) Remove the developer unit and remove
the mixer lid.
3) Dump the developer out of the unit.
4) Vacuum any developer on mag-roller and
inside of the unit.
5) Remove the developer unit duct cover and
clean inside of duct cover.
6) Pour in the new developer
Note: - Shake the developer bottle and pour
it into the developer unit evenly.
- Pay attention when cleaning the TDC
sensor with vacuum cleaner , TDC
sensor may be damaged by electro-
statics.
Adjustment after relacing new developer
a. Set F mode.
b. Set and run F8-09.
c. Write the contents of F6-21 and 26 on the
memory sheet.
