2.5.2 Connecting Extensions in Parallel
Any single line telephone (SLT) can be connected in parallel with a proprietary telephone (PT) to a
Hybrid Port as follows:
Note
An answering machine, fax machine or modem can be connected in parallel with a PT in the
same way as an SLT can.
To a Hybrid Port
4-conductor wiring cord
Connect pins "T", "R", "H",
and "L".
2-conductor wiring cord
Connect pins "T" and "R".
